Instant Traffic For Free

There is only one way to get instant traffic without paying for it and that is through the use of traffic exchanges.

At a traffic exchange you surf other sites to earn credits to send people to you URL`s.

Traffic exchanges are far from the perfect solution to getting traffic; Coversion rates are horrible because the people who are surfing at these exchanges are doing the same thing you are - Trying to earn credits so they can have their websites shown. After a while surfing at these sites can become rather boring.

On the plus side traffic exchanges can be fun to use, and the are incredibly simple. They are also one of the first places newbies go when trying to generate traffic.

Traffic exchanges do work and by using the following tips you can maximize your results from them.

1) Use a splash page. A splash page is a simple page thats loads fast and has a clear call to action, usually that action is to just click on the page and then the viewer is taken to your main site.

2) Use a squeeze page. A squeeze page is similar to a splash page except it asks the viewer to leave contact information, such as their name and email address, in exchange for a free gift, usually a ebook, but it could be any time of downloadable information product such as graphics, videos, or software. The best place to find these kind of products is at Information Ninja

3) Surf multiple traffic exchanges at the same time. Do this by opening 5 or 6 of them in different tabs in your browser. Then use the ctrl key + tab key to switch from tab to tab as you click on each traffic exchanges anti-cheat bar.

Here are 3 of the top traffic exchanges in no particular order:

1) Traffic Splash
2) StartXchange
3) TS25

There are also websites that help you build a downline on several traffic exchanges - By Promoting a site such as this you may never have to surf to earn credits again, instead you will receive credits from your downline automatically. Traffic Tornado has brought me several recruits into my downlines of other traffic exchanges, Now when they surf the exchanges I earn credits.

So in spite of the cons of using traffic exchanges I can honestly recommend them, as they have worked for me in my list building efforts. Once I started getting traffic from the search engines I stopped using traffic exchanges regularily, but every once in a while, when I am looking for a relaxing brainless activity I will load up a few exchanges and start racking up the credits.

Another thing to keep in mind is to offer products on traffic exchanges that the people who surf these sites would be interested in. The most obvious being Traffic related products, after all thats why they are all there in the first place.
